...and then I came home.
I found Monday morning that I had gotten a severe case of poision ivy after doing yardwork Friday afternoon. It was all over my arms, and various spots on my legs, torso and neck. I went to Patient First and they presecribed me with a steroid to help the healing process and suppress the itching. Unfortunatley, the steroid also has some rare side affects like insomnia and draining of energy. I, aparantley, got both. So the medication made me incredibly tired physically and mentally, but unable to sleep.
I've been living off advil PM. They also told me to severley limit my workouts and physical activity. I work out everyday and my job is basically a 9-5 of physical activity, so I had to kind of disregard that order, which I guess prolongs the agony. I've been extremley tired, irritable and just plain miserable these past few days. But luckily, my poison ivy is starting to heal.
My weekend was much better than my week, thankfully. Todays my 18th birthday!
My arms have been so sore that even getting online was a feat, but I'm hoping once they heal I can get back to doing some artwork for once! I really hope this week is better than last week.
